Coach DiNunzio has over 10 years of coaching experience at the high school level. He has worked in the past with the Eastchester, Lincoln, and New Rochelle high school programs. Coach DiNunzio worked on the staff of New Rochelle Coach Louis DiRienzo (who won two state championships and the New York State Section 1 AA championship nine times). He was born and raised in Westchester County, and was an All-State performer and Athlete of the Year in both his Junior and Senior years at Eastchester High School. "Coach D" also serves as a coach with Wilton Baseball.Coach Ron LienhardtDefensive CoordinatorCoach Lienhardt is starting his sixth year on the Wilton HS football staff. Prior to coming to Wilton, Ron was an assistant coach and head freshman coach for 3 years at Bethel High School and 3 years at Immaculate High in Danbury. He also spent over 15 years coaching in Bethel Youth football, including serving 6 years as President. In addition to football, Ron has coached youth baseball, softball and basketball and is an Assistant Coach for the Wilton High Softball team. Ron is a graduate of Greenwich High School and served in the United States Air Force.Coach Jim SextonFreshman Team Head CoachAssistant Offensive Coordinator - Assistant QB CoachCoach Sexton has been with Wilton Football since 2007. He is a former head coach with Wilton Youth Football, joined the High School staff as an assistant freshman coach in 2014 and was named Head Coach of the Warrior Freshman in 2016. Coach Sexton was a multisport athlete (football and baseball) who graduated from Penney High School in East Hartford. He is also a University of Connecticut graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Coach has worked for United Parcel Service for over 35 years and will retire this fall. He lives in Wilton with his wife, Holly, daughters Devon and Maeve and son Riley.Coach Anthony CesariniRunning Backs CoachCoach Cesarinihas coached Football for the last 22 years with stops at Eastchester HS and Tuckahoe HS. He also was the strength and conditioning coach at Edgemont HS. Coach Cesarini took some time out in between jobs to coach his four sons in football, baseball and basketball. He lives in Eastchester NY with his wife Phyllis and four sons Alex, AJ, Michael and Nick. Coach Cesarini served 22 years with the Eastchester Police Department before retiring in 2010.Coach Dave BrennanDefensive Backs Coach - AssistantDefensive CoordinatorCoach Brennanand his family join the Warriors this season, bringing 30 years of high school coaching experience throughout the state, including North Branford, Hamden, Fairfield and Ridgefield. Coach Brennan has coached at all levels in several leagues throughout Connecticut, including the FCIAC. He is looking forward to contributing to an outstanding season working with Coach DiNunzio and his staff.Coach Joel GeriakQB CoachCoach Geriak is a new Warrior Football coach this year, but Wilton fans are familiar with him as the Head Coach of the Warrior Basketball program for the past seven years. Coach Geriak has earned FCIAC Coach of the year and Winter Coach of the Year honors with the Warriors. Before coming to Wilton, he coached with New Canaan high school football, working with the JV team and as a Varsity Special Teams coach. Coach Geriak is a true “multi-sport” coach, his career also includes working with baseball and softball teams that have won multiple CIAC and FCIAC championships.Coach Alex BleierFreshman Team Assistant Coach - Assistant Line CoachCoach Bleier returns for his second season with the Warrior coaching staff, serving as Freshman Defensive Coordinator and Line Coach. This is Bleier’s second year coaching. He has eight years of playing experience and played at Frank Scott Bunnell High School. Coach Bleier graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports & Leisure Management with a minor in Psychology. Coach strives to help give players the same admiration of football that he shares and to help them understand the importance of hard work and commitment.Coach Kevin ParadisOffensive Line CoachCoach Paradis joins the coaching staff this year after spending the last few years coaching Wilton Youth teams in Fairfield County. Kevin graduated from Ithaca College where he lettered in football for the Division 3 Bombers and played nose guard on their 1988 NCAA Championship team. Kevin played locally and was an All-County lineman for Stamford (now Trinity) Catholic and lettered for their 1983 Class S state runner up and their 1984 FCIAC Championship teams.Coach Ray TuccittoVolunteer Operations AssistantCoach Tuccitto comes to Wilton this year after working 29 years in law enforcement. He has four children and has been actively involved in youth activities for over three decades.
